Cassandra Monique Batie known professionally as Andra Day is an American R&B and soul singer songwriter and actress. She's won an Grammy Award and Children's and Family Emmy Award. Golden Globe Award and Academy Award nominations are also among her accolades. Andra Day, a talented artist and songwriter, with a strong background in blues, gospel and gospel that has a passion for the modern world is more than just an R&B throwback expert. Her ability to combine her influences of jazz, gospel, and blues into the R&B style is quite impressive. Andra Day is born Cassandra Monique Batie, in Edmonds Washington. She grew up around San Diego and the metropolitan region. In the area, she performed in church and attended the School of Creative and Performing Arts. When she left the school, she was drawn to contemporary R&B and pop but was eventually drawn back to the classic jazz and soul singers she listened to when she was a child. Kai Millard Morris recorded a performance of Day, and later gave her husband Stevie Wonder some of Day's material. Motown legendary Adrian Gurvitz connected Day and the veteran music businessman. Day, who was allied to Gurvitz as well as Jeffrey Evans Buskin Label Day was a viral YouTube star after which she signed with Warner Bros. In 2012 Day came out with Forever Mine as her debut track on YouTube. The song was immediately taken up by DJs, who started airing the track on radio. After signing in 2015 with Warner Bros. Records she began work on her debut album, Cheers to The Fall, featuring Adrian Gurvitz. The single "Rise Up" was a hit worldwide in social justice movements. Day earned two Grammy nominations for her album which included Best R&B Album. The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a concept-album that chronicles the legendary jazz artist's life and career, came out in the year 2019. The United States against Billie Holiday came out in 2021. It was the same year she appeared in the film Holiday. Andi matichak (born August 25, 1970) is an American actress. Her first appearance was on television shows like 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods prior to making her feature film debut in the role of Allyson Nelson in the horror movie series Halloween as well as the sequels. Andi matichak is a American actress born on 03 May 1994 in Framingham in Massachusetts.
