The birth of Kellie Dawn Pickler on June 28 1986 Pickler experienced a turbulent childhood. When Pickler was just 2, her mother ran away to protect her from an abusive family. Pickler returned to the mother she had left in 1995 after she was appointed the custodian. It did not work out very well. Pickler was then 12 years old and was returned to her parents by court.
