Carly Rae Jepsen grew up in the city of Mission, British Columbia. As a child, Carly Rae began playing music. It was in high-school when she started participating in talent competitions held locally. At Victoria, British Columbia she studied at the Canadian College of Performing Arts. She reached the top 3 in 2007. She was a contestant as a contestant for Canadian Idol, the 5th season. Her debut album Tug of War was released in 2008 following the finale of Canadian Idol. Album was successful, peaking at the number 6 spot on the Canadian Albums charts. The album was released in 2012, and she had her debut album Kiss, which led to her number one track Call Me Maybe. The song was a worldwide success, topping the charts in over 18 nations. Over 15 million albums were sold. Since then, she has released three albums, won numerous awards and been nominated for two Grammys. Carly Rae Jepsen has earned a lot of income from her profession in music. She has an estimated total net worth of around $15 million and earns an average of $5 million each year from her music tour and endorsements.
